           We held our annual NCP End of Year BBQ today to thank our staff for their hard work over the past 12 months. 
          &#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Everyone was treated to smoked cuts of pork and beef, prepared onsite by our resident chef, Brad Studdert, Despatch Manager. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           This years LSL recipients were David Small (15 years), Matthew Jackson (25 years), Neil Foster (25 years) and Peter Barry retiring after 26 years at NCP. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           On Thursday 21st September, the NSW Women in Print Committee held their annual Print &amp;amp; Prosecco night.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div data-rss-type="text"&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Debbie Burgess, NCP's Joint MD, and NSW Women in Print Patron, welcomed over 30 women to Hunters Hill Club. The night was generously sponsored by Tony Bertrand from Ball &amp;amp; Doggett and Mitch Mulligan from Böttcher Systems.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            The theme was
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           connecting and networking
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           , and this the women did very well. Through a series of questions, women had to get to know others in the room who they have never met before (or knew very little). Lots of laughs ensured and 7 women were selected to profile themselves (and their most embarrassing moments). For their courage they received gifts donated by Bright Print Group and Media Super.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           There were plenty of laughs, with Debbie emphasising the importance of networking for social and professional benefits. The night could not have taken place without the NSW Committee which includes Carmen Ciappara, Sarah Moore and Jessica Weston. A special shoutout to Joy Steele, who is always on hand to assist.

&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           This 24-hour experience will give participants a first-hand understanding of what parents and carers go through on a daily basis, as well as getting an opportunity to see what it takes to create the best possible experience for a family staying at Ronald McDonald House.

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

            Over $303K raised, 270 balloons sold, over 1000 raffle tickets, 200 bottles of wine sold, many, many happy guests, and close to 100 silent auction items purchased. As

      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           print partners
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

            of the night, we are very humbled for the opportunity to be part of the event supporting such a great cause!

           Our NCP volunteer team visited RHM Newcastle to participate in the Meals from the Heart program. The program provided a hands-on opportunity to support the families during their time of need directly. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           With much enthusiasm, our team cooked up a storm and was invited to share the meal with the families in the house and the Meals from the Heart volunteer supervisors. It was a moving experience to hear the stories of the challenges many of these families are enduring. {It gives all of us reason to pause and be thankful for all that we have}
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

      <title>NSW Women In Print Breakfast Series 2023</title>

           The first Women in Print (WIP) Breakfast Series for the year was held in Sydney on 16th May 2023 at the Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div data-rss-type="text"&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The sold out event – with over 190 participants – was opened by NCP's Joint CEO and NSW WIP Patron, Debbie Burgess. In her opening address, Debbie presented a brief overview emphasising that our industry can be strengthened with the continual promotion of gender equality by encouraging female employment and leadership.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           As breakfast was served, keynote speaker Danielle Dobson took to the stage. Danielle is a speaker, author, facilitator and mother. Her extensive work as a CPA saw her focus on a two-year research piece which eventuated into her novel ‘Breaking the Gender Code’. The audience was presented with an inspirational and educational talk about the gender code within women's professional and personal lives and how to reset it to strategically unlock their full potential for success. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The amazing event provided a great platform for women in the print industry to network and celebrate the extraordinary contribution they make.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

The award for Printer of the Year in Packaging was announce during this year's Printing Industry Creativity Awards on 30th June 2022 in Melbourne during PacPrint.
